I read your story today and just wanted to say how extremely inspiring it was. As someone in their mid-20’s, I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to travel to a number of places throughout my life already, but consequently I’ve grown considerable wanderlust. I’ve always wanted to embark on a longer, more existential trip similar to yours.
I grew up on the Eastside, work in PR in Seattle, and have been locked into establishing roots after college, which has hindered any chance at traveling for a number of years now. Your story is literally my dream. And I hope that someday I’ll be able to take the same leap and experience that dream. Thank you for sharing your adventure!
